At Bouncy Bear Childcare we try to offer the children
and the parents / carers "extras" which we feel
makes life that little bit easier and happier.
These extras are provided at no additional cost.
- When you start, you provide us with an example of your childs daily
routine and we will follow this to make the child more comfortable.
- We operate a Book Club where each child is loaned a book to read at
home for a fortnight, you then return it and we swap it for another one.
This is free but you can choose to opt out if you wish.
- Daily Diaries are done for each child. They detail food eaten, nappy
changes, sleeps, drinks and activities done during the day. These are
especially helpful as they let you know what your child has been up to
and can quickly identify any problems e.g. teething.
- Children have many opportunities to try new activities. We have had
visits from the Police, Aldo the Clown, Jo Jingles, Yum Yum Yoga,
Dance Instructors, Artists, Tropiquaria, Fire Engine, Iggle Piggle and
Upsy Daisy, Dental Hygienist, new born puppies, Ballet Bugs,
Sainsbury's with Healthy Food, Take Art, Toy Library etc. We do this to
give your children many different experiences and opportunities.
- We operate a Story Stack Loan where you and your family can borrow
a Story Sack for a week. It includes a book and resources to support
the book as well as other linked items e.g. CD, game, factual book etc.
This is also free and optional.
- We will give you the choice if you want a telephone call during the first
few days when your child starts to let you know how they are and put
you at ease.
- With your permission we regularly take photographs of the children
playing. These will either be given to you or put in your child's individual
development folder.
- We are happy to use your Terry nappies, if that is your preference.
